What Is Everyday Vastu?

Everyday Vastu is the daily application of Vastu Shastra principles to the small choices that shape personal life: where you sleep, where you sit to work, the direction you face while eating, the colours you wear. It treats Vastu as something you do, not something you commission once. At Layered Vastu I help clients see the small habits and placements that may be working against them. Guidance covers bedroom positioning, study direction, kitchen use, mirror placement, the plants on your balcony, and seasonal shifts to make through the year. These corrections are deliberately small. The Layered Vastu approach does not push expensive remedies or renovations. Most of what I suggest can be done the same day, at no cost, using things you already own. People take this either as a standalone consultation or as a follow-up to a full property reading.

FAQS

The recommended sleeping direction in classical Vastu is with your head pointing south, or as a second choice, east. This
means the top of your head faces south while you lie down. North is best avoided as a head-direction, and west is acceptable
but neutral. For couples the same rule applies for the head of the bed.

For work that requires focus and learning, face east. For work that requires authority and decision-making, face north. South- facing seating is generally avoided for routine work. If you cannot face the right direction, a small placement correction such as the position of your desk lamp or a coloured object on the table can help balance the zone.

Yes, though they are simpler than people expect. The classical guidance ties colour to the day of the week and to the
planetary energies of that day: white on Monday, red on Tuesday, green on Wednesday, yellow on Thursday, white or cream on
Friday, blue or black on Saturday, and pink or maroon on Sunday. Most clients use this as a soft guide rather than a strict rule.

They add up. The premise of Everyday Vastu is that you spend most of your waking hours in repeated patterns: the chair you
sit in, the side of the bed you sleep on, the room you eat in. Each repetition is the same energy, day after day. Small corrections
at these points carry more weight than the size of the change suggests.

No. Many clients start with Everyday Vastu first, especially if they are renting, sharing accommodation, or just want to test
what works before committing to a full property reading. The session focuses only on personal habits and placements you
control. You can always add a property reading later if you want to go deeper.
